I'm a fractional CTO for founders building with AI. I've spent twenty years building software that millions of people use without thinking about it. Now I work with small teams that need someone to make the next technical decision clearly — and own what happens after it. Today I'm a Senior Principal Engineer, Marketing Technology at GoDaddy. Before that I was a Distinguished Engineer at Expedia Group, and before that I led a 70-person engineering organisation at Hearst.

This is the work I do now, and it's the work I'm best at. At Periodikal I took a small remote team from nothing to a working product with paying customers — and owned the backlog, vendor selection, security and compliance, and fundraising conversations. I've helped fintech and crypto startups get from an idea to a first MVP. For a fashion boutique startup I delivered their data and analytics foundation end to end; I don't name that client. I also built the City of Seattle's Affordability Portal with a small team as part of the Innovation Advisory Council. I'm not a big-company architect who needs a platform team and six months. I write the code, and I know which parts you don't need yet.
