Review call
A scheduled conversation about what changed, what is creating risk, and what matters next.
Once an application matters to the business, it needs someone who can keep track of its health, make sensible tradeoffs, and decide what should happen next. Technical Ownership gives you a practical rhythm for doing that.
Clear priorities. Practical next steps. No pressure to build.
Every month
Both tiers include recurring review and written priorities. Advisory provides judgment; Technical Ownership provides accountability for getting the agreed priorities done.
A scheduled conversation about what changed, what is creating risk, and what matters next.
A concise record of current findings, decisions, and recommended priorities.
A maintained list of the next useful improvements, ordered by risk and business value.
An agreed response-time expectation for questions and coordination. This is not an uptime or availability guarantee.
Technical Ownership works the priorities we agree together and reports what was done each month. If the work outgrows the retainer, we tell you before it happens and quote it separately.
Context accumulates over time so decisions do not restart from zero each month.

Advisory
My judgment: a recurring review call, written health report, prioritized backlog, and a reply within one business day. Implementation is quoted separately when needed.
Technical Ownership (fractional CTO)
My accountability: everything in Advisory, plus working the agreed priorities and reporting what was done each month.
Included in both
Review, reporting, prioritization, and response within one business day. This is a communication expectation, not an uptime or availability guarantee.
The boundary
We do not sell hours, so we have no reason to be slow. If the work needed outgrows the retainer, we tell you before it happens and quote it separately.
Technical Ownership is not an uptime guarantee, an emergency-response promise, or an unlimited development retainer. It does not include third-party software fees, major new products, unplanned out-of-scope work, or a promise of a specific business result. Those needs are discussed and priced separately when they arise. We do not sell hours, so we have no reason to be slow. Most technical help is billed by the hour, which means the more slowly a problem is solved, the more it costs. We charge for the outcome.
The service is monthly with a 30-day notice period, so the work can change as the business changes.
We examine what changed, what is failing, and what risks or opportunities deserve attention.
We turn the review into a short, ordered backlog tied to business impact.
On Technical Ownership, we work the highest-priority agreed improvements and report what was done.
We record the current health, decisions, and recommended next steps for the following cycle.
A few important boundaries are worth making explicit.
Terms
The service is monthly with 30-day notice to end it.
Scope
Major new work is scoped separately so it does not silently consume the recurring service.
Response
No. Any response-time expectation is about communication, not availability or uptime.
Fit
No. The service is designed for businesses that need ongoing technical judgment without staffing a complete team.
